Apprentice Water Treatment Engineer

Full Job Description

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 a year

Job Type: Full time, permanent

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, normally an 8 hour shift, opportunity for overtime. All work is carried out on site, under the supervision of our team.

Qualifications: Driving licence required

Training: All employees are trained to the highest standard, using a range of in-house training and external learning programmes that are accredited by City & Guilds.

Role and responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

● Cleaning and disinfection of showers

● Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems

● Carrying out TMV checks and maintenance

● Checking and disinfection of calorifiers

● Completing all work on in house software using an iPad

Key Skills and Experience:

We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate:

● Have experience working on water systems in buildings

● Strong verbal communication skills

● The ability to work as part of a team, as well as on their own

● The ability to use IT equipment such as and iPad and Mobile Phone

● Excellent time-keeping

There are some requirements that are needed to take up this post:

● Full UK Driving licence – Essential

● Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK.

● All roles require a DBS check; we will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.
